A morning stroll

An early morning walk on the beach ..... the tide was gradually creeping up the beach and the wading birds took to the air as I approached .... if I could float over the sand there might be a chance of photographing the oystercatchers before they knew I was there.

The very loud honking sounds heralds the passing of the geese on the way to their wintering grounds. It's so difficult to locate the geese in the camera's screen and once I find them they've flown further away ... again!
