Woodland Colour

My lunchtime walk was up hill to the Millmoor woodland.  I thought I'd focus on the colours today.  The light was quite soft in the distance and there are places in the woodland where the colour is beautiful.

No new fungi spotted, the funnels were still trooping, but the Amethyst Deceivers that I'd spotted yesterday were already looking sad and sorry for themselves.  The leaves are disappearing fast with all the wind we've had and I guess after tomorrow, when the tail end of a hurricane is due to strike, there be very few left.
