The Calm After The Storm

Super warm here with a cold front moving in. A storm with massive winds and torrential rain blew through this afternoon. It wasnt as prolonged or severe as they had predicted. The top photo is our backyard at the height of it and the bottom was the lovely sunny calm that followed the storm. Great lazy morning, while my sweetie was out for his final team row before heading to Boston to compete. Luckily they were off the water well before the storm arrived. I made it to the pool for my weekly laps. I then hit the kitchen for zuppa toscano, breakfast cookies, Portuguese potatoes, cauliflower steaks with chickpea salsa, beef steaks and roast squash. We are in a food coma now watching a movie.
