Ophelia makes landfall

We have been warned for some days now that hurricane Ophelia was heading towards the UK.  It is the most easterly course ever recorded for a Category 3 hurricane.  Now it has landed in Ireland and, despite it being down graded to Category 1, it is having a significant effect on the SW.  It is expected to track towards the NE and so will affect NI, the NW and Scotland later.  Hold on to your hats.
