Packwood

I met my friend John at Packwood House, a National Trust property at Lapworth near Solihull, for lunch. We had a nice long chat over lunch then went out for a walk, firstly the length of Packwood Avenue, the picture is at the start of the walk. The kitchen garden, full of pumpkins and gourds, was next then on to the Yew Tree garden and down to the lake. We were back in time for a cup of tea before they closed the place at five.
