Ruff Night!

Backblip


Following on from last night's blip, when Lola came back in from her last trip outside she went into her crate happily but within minutes was barking.  This unusual occurrence has been happening the last couple of night and it's a bit of a shock after her being settled in her crate at night for weeks, without any problem.

We knew she was fine so decided to leave her but she barked till 2am.  Since Ele and Kenny were staying and could no doubt hear her, David went downstairs and spent the rest of the night in the garden room with her.  Need to try and get to the bottom of it.

Once we were all up it was pancakes, bacon and maple syrup for breakfast before Ele and Kenny headed off.  

Lola and I had a relaxing afternoon while David went to Pets at Home to buy a bigger crate for Lola (she's just about outgrown the other one and we're wondering if she feels too enclosed and that's why she's barking at night) as well as some new chew toys as teething has started and the chewing has increased.  

Other than that I can't really remember much about the rest of the day other than Lola destroyed two of the new chew toys in as many minutes and there was barking again at bedtime.  In the end David slept on the sofa with her.  As I left them she was resting her head on his pillow and licking the side of his head.  It's official.  She's a wee husband stealer!!  

Blip is Lola trying out her new crate.  Happy to be in it to rest but not overnight it would seem.
