Fungus

Still pretty windy this morning but we were able to take Mum out to do her own shopping instead of her having to rely on others to get it for her. (It worked out well as her usual helpers were away).
We then went back into the town to get some things for ourselves and stretch the legs before returning home. This fungus on a tree stump by the river was the only pick I took all day.
After cooking lunch we did some housework and then set off back north, fortunately the wind had settled. Our initial destination was Edinburgh to go to a Richard Thompson concert - very good - and after that home just before midnight.
A very good, though tiring, few days away.
