Autumn "crocus"

There are quite a lot out in the garden but very few stand up straight.
Did some baking this morning  hbut left the first cake in the oven too long and it is very dry, and the phone kept going during the making of the second lot though they turned out not too bad. The kitchen was chaos!
Funeral this afternoon for one of the running club members and, sadly, there is another tomorrow , though I can't go to that.
The legs coped fine with a gentle evening run so the weekend's activities haven't done too much damage.
