Into the mist

Puck’s Glen, near Dunoon, is always interesting. For a start, it’s a dramatic post-glacial gorge down which a torrent - at least after the rain we’ve had- plunges over falls and under bridges. But add to that the changes that occur all the time - massive trees sliding into the gorge, sections of path disintegrating into the torrent - and you have a really interesting clamber. Throw in some swirling mists and the roar and drip of the water and you have a winner.

Our grandchildren certainly thought so ...
