Swanage Bay

Final full day by the sea and after the torrential rain and high winds of yesterday evening, the sun shone in the blue sky and we had a lovely walk along the base of the cliffs.

Ballards Cliff, in the blips, is made of Cretaceous chalk and forms part of the Jurassic Coast. There have been frequent landslides over the past two decades.

The week here has been very relaxing and has gone far too quickly. Looking forward to a meal tonight down at the beach bistro with its view of the sea.

My extra is the gorgeous ginger Persian cat who lives below our apartment.
