Three Little Birds at the Loch

I managed a circuit of the loch before the rains came. I haven't been to the Heritage Park for ages .... the geese have flown, I couldn't see the swans but there were plenty of mallards and noisy gulls.

Up at the far end of the loch away from the cafe and car parks there were about a dozen or so Lapwings standing on their favourite rocks down by the lochside. The ground was very wet but I put the camera on full zoom and got as close as I could before they sensed my presence and took to the air.
