This little owl is doing a very important job acting as a desk calendar and a place to keep all the bits and pieces that everybody needs handy on their desk 
About this time of year I usually come up with something practical that the card class ladies can make as a gift.  It usually involves a calendar somewhere, as that always seems to go down well.  The insert shows the back of the pot.
