Puddled weather!

Well what a washout yesterday afternoon, evening and night was, and as predicted it blew an absolute hooley too!!! Some of our local roads were flooded and as you can see from todays blip, the farmers fields not too far from home are full of small lakes :-/ luckily no more harvesting left to do!

It was still overcast and drizzly earlier this morning, but we braved it for a walk, collecting the papers on our way back.

We have had a very lazy day today, which makes a nice change, once in a while :-)
I did make a steak and kidney pie for dinner, which has just been all but demolished, with mashed potatoes and carrotts :-)) Can't even manage a yoghurt for dessert , # Stuffed ;-))

well, signing off now, strictly results are about to get underway, I think Simon will be for the chop this week :-/
