Taken from the door

Its mono Monday theme "music" - nothing in this relates to music, so I won't tag it. But then on second thoughts, thanks Isbi.....we woke to rain which was music to our ears.
Lots of rain overnight and this morning, cleared for a bit this morning - I saw this lovely slither of light out to sea (Pacific Ocean) so went to the door a snapped off a couple.  I seem to have taken to portrait format for landscape recently - liking the negative space of the sky.
Within minutes it had closed in and rained again.
The good thing about today is I've sat at the computer and completely finished my Blurb book (cover too) 136 pages - its sitting there now waiting for a BIG discount before uploading.  And such a relief to have that done. Phew.  I had an email from Blurb, marketing Layflat books now, would be very nice, but I guess the price tag will be a deterrent.
