Shades of Autumn

Today I took my usual Sunday walk in Epping Forest with Zeus09smum, Zeus, her friend and dog. It was rather breezy and grey when we first set out but the skies started to clear and the sun even shone through from time to time.
The forest isn't quite 'there' yet in terms of Autumn colour at its best but the  light shining through these changing beech leaves hints at what's to come in the next week or so.
