Scoring

Scoring. An interesting verb with such diverse meanings from actively putting a ball through a hoop; making a deep mark in wood; or getting anothet hit from a drug.

But this activity, graciously called scoring is none of those or is it?
It involves following the game of netball closely, keeping a tally of the number of goals and the position of the person who scored them. It may seem a little inactive, but it is crucial that attention is focused on the motion at all times.
That extreme sense of needing to not miss a moment causes a release in adrenalin and other "feel good" hormones, which perhaps have a distant sense of the rush sought by a junkie.

Me? I knit and offer useless additional (and sometimes incorrect) info.
