This statue of the goose girl is placed in the center of the fountain before the Rathaus in Göttingen. Every student who has graduated is obliged to come to this spot, climb high up and kiss her, put flowers in her arms. A lovely tradition.
We went by train to Göttingen, despite the not all too nice weather.
It is Piet Hein's birthday today, and we wanted to do something special.
And a visit of Göttingen is special. It had been more than two years ago that we had come here. We walked along all our favourite places, nt into theJacobi Church of gothic style,  we walked in the Old Botanical Garden, went in the hothouses with the ferns, and the cactusses, a very nice collection.
At 5 pm we took the train back home.

I have given more silly hearts, to Carolina, carolinav, AmandaT2013, Hanulli and Shirleyray.

No wonder I am tired after this busy day, and that is why I will catch up tomorrow, with new energy.
