Ticket Office

This is the Baveno ticket office for the ferries, an architectural style no doubt typical of the epoch in which it was built.

The day is rather overcast. We make a visit to Stresa, again by boat, so no driving today. Our boat stops at Isola Madre which looks to have a very attractive garden, as well as another Borromeo Villa. It was already too late to disembark and get another ferry, so it will have to be for another time.

As this is sou last night at Baveno and Lago Maggiore we decided to avoid the disappointment of Saturday and return instead to the first restaurant we visited. Tomorrow Switzerland.
