The Wolstencroft Shield

The oldest and therefore the first winners were 10th Blackpool St John's Scout Group back in 1931, they won it again in 1932,1934,1935'and 1937.
My group, 1st Staining first appear on the shield in 1970 not longer after the Group had been formed and well before my involvement! It can be seen here when we won it last year for the 2nd time and after last night's fantastic performance from our Scout Group, it rests with us again for another year.
