Hakea

Wombat Hollow looks like a snow field at the moment. Once a year the Hakea native plants flower and they all come out at exactly the same time. It's somewhat of a phenomenon.

I'm delighted that it just happens to be this week as we have a group of macro photographers visiting on Saturday. It will be very interesting to see the different takes they all have on the plant life out here.
