Some early preparations

Inspired by the friend I visited recently, I thought I would check out the store cupboard and gather and check C pudding ingredients. I make several every other year and this year they are due. Note the Delia book, I've had it for so many years and it remains my cooking 'bible' in spite of many other cookery books aquired since! Just a couple of things I need and this weekend I'll be wielding the big wooden spoon.
A lovely day today and a respite from the rain. Realised I am not rehearsing tonight (a welcome break) so decided on a Dog & Gun meal as I will have to leave early for technical tomorrow.
