Anniversary trip

We collected L from nursery at lunchtime and headed off to the seaside to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary.

We had a lovely stroll along a windswept promenade at Eastbourne, including a trip down the pier, followed by a hot drink and slice of cake in a little café.

After checking into the hotel and having a bit of down time, we went out for a lovely meal (L was a star, especially considering she hadn’t had a proper afternoon nap today).

We don’t get away on holiday very often any more, so this is quite an adventure!
