Skipton Woods

The beck in Skipton Woods was fast and full as we enjoyed our walk this morning ( my daughter and three grandchildren) The area has had heavy rain during the last couple of nights. But today the sun shone and the light was beautiful through the yellowing leaves which sometimes fell in little showers. Many activities were enjoyed whittling sticks with a new penknife, spotting birds, collecting leaves and the usual muddy puddles for sploshing in.
