Gulls

A morning looking after young C. It's been a long time since I baby-sat a child of this age, a bit of a challenge, but we got through it! He was pretty good really, and then in the afternoon he slept soundly, allowing us to enjoy lazing on the beach under shade umbrellas for several hours, listening to live music by a very talented guy called "Rob".
Rob impressed me, just playing solo and building the backing to all his songs by looping various instruments until it sounded like a whole band. Very well done.
The gulls were impressive too! They seemed to hunt in packs (flocks?), swooping in on unsuspecting guests to steal their lunch when they weren't paying attention. Not sure what type of gull they were, I think maybe this is an immature laughing gull. Losing one's lunch was no laughing matter though!
