Parsley Cottage.....

....a wander through Lilliput Lane, this little cottage was inspired by a seventeenth-century thatched cottage in Bledstoe, Bedfordshire.

The collection started out with pieces collected by my late in-laws of places they had visited on overseas holidays to the UK. A collection which grew and grew and now has taken over daughter A's room. It comes with a well documented spreadsheet which my FIL, thankfully, created. Most have the original packaging and boxes and come with deeds and certificates. We are managing at this stage to distribute it by word of mouth to other collectors.

And like the tortoises there are some Lilliput Lane which I'm rather fond of, some quaint little cottages with names to match like Afternoon Tea, Rustic Charm, Mother's World, An Apple A Day, Sugar Mouse, Hops House all beautifully detailed with thatched or tiled rooves and pretty little gardens.

Managing these collections is like returning to work....certainly filling in my days.
