lion cubs....

Had an amazing day in the park today.  It is really dry and really hot (over 40 degrees C)!  It was quite difficult to see animals because they tend to stay in the shade in the heat and were not even coming to drink at the waterholes (the few that are left)!  However, we came upon three lionesses who had killed a buffalo I think. They were tearing it to shreds and there were three little cubs joining in the fun!  These two left the main group and went and lay below this bush. They started licking the blood of the kill off each others faces!    It was difficult to choose the blip for today so have added a couple extra!
