Blade Runner

To see Blade Runner 2049. By my calculation that's only 32 years away. So if you want to get a vision of what Britain might look like after Brexit go see it. Although its set in California - perhaps post-Trump doing his worst. 

I dont know why I went because Sci-fi isn't my cuppa. But it has had great reviews and they said what fantastic cinephotography it is. And indeed it is but oh so doomy. In science fiction films no one ever smiles. They all look miserable. Why's that then? I suppose there is a comedy example but I can't think of it.
