Coniston Old Man

Jan's brother Dave was 60 years old and this was his wish for the birthday. Probably he envisioned slightly different weather but he is a realist too. He's standing at the back of the group here. Understandably there were a few jokes about the name of the fell and the man getting to 60!
Bramble thought the trip was fun, though she shivered if we stopped for too long and she worried if the group split up, especially if all the key members of "her" family weren't around!
I was about to change to a dry shirt and put on my waterproof for the trip down!
