Lulu's Pad

On the drive to do the morning dog walk had to stop outside Lulu's house to help her cross the road. She's getting on in years and the arthritis is plaguing her just as it is her old friend Flash. Both of them are 14 and in the first few months of their lives were walking companions. Lulu and her then partner Coco would come down to our place and collect Flash for a midday walk when Angie and I were both at work. Lulu and Coco are both Lion dogs and belong to friend Elke.

Once Lulu had been deposited on the other side of the road, we continued  on down to the place where the Blip was taken from, for our walk. As I had again failed in my duties to the Tractor Tuesday group, the Blip is my attempt to hold on to my membership - in recent times we have had Americans muscling in and soon they will be calling for "USA first".

Been a mixed emotional day for a specific reason which will develop over the forthcoming months. Will need lots of strength from those concerned but looks like it could go well.

Wonderful warm sunny day and the evening walk was even more spectacular with wonderful views of the Alps.
