Watersmeet

A super morning at Watersmeet, a former fishing lodge now cared for by the National Trust, where the East Lyn River and the Hoar Oak Water meet. The pair of horses are used to help clear the woodland where heavy machinery can't get in. We had an informative nature walk, before going back to the Lodge cafe where we had coffee and cream teas outside in the garden, compliments of the NT. Then a short drive up on to Exmoor in search of highland cattle, ponies and deer. Saw a few ponies and were lucky enough to come across a small heard of deer. All in all a delightful day :-)

Thank you for your stars and comments. I have got behind again, but will do my best to catch up soonest :-)
