Hookah

This beautiful hookah probably has a lot of tales to tell.   It now graces the Indian restaurant that we regularly visit.   0

We had a quiet day to day just doing a bit of necessary shopping.   We bought a cake, not a fancy one, just a plain butter cake, madeira cake as I used to call it.   Our bill seemed rather large for the few bits we had bought,  so I was idly scanning the docket when a 1000 baht item caught my attention, in Aussie dollars this is about $40, I was shocked to find that it was for the cake, talk about inflation last week the same cake was 50 baht.  Fortunately we were still close to the mall so we quickly went back to query the discrepancy.  Somehow the cashier had managed to charge us for 17 cakes.   We do enjoy a slice of cake, but 17.... We were refunded. Plus we discovered that we could claim our parking fee back.   So it was all very silly but worked out well in the end.
