Through the Square Window Today

Memories of childhood.

I've been travelling these rails since I was nine years old yet the views never fail to uplift me.  Today Jamie and I joined the last 310pm departure of the year from Tywyn Wharf as the sun began to drop low in the west.  After dropping more than half the passengers early on at Rhydyronen, we almost had the train to ourselves.  Long shadows and golden light were followed by falling dusk on the return journey.  The temperature dropped as darkness fell, we snuggled up close to keep warm :-)

Who else remembers Brian Cant and Playschool?

PS - Not a panoramic but a stitch-up pic.
