I found this green and blue glass bird this morning when I was looking for something else. We'd bought it some years ago and it was still in its cardboard box. It looked so lovely this afternoon with the sun shining through it. It's now happily perched on the mantelpiece. Another day on the sewing machine for me - tomorrow I'll need to do some hand sewing to finish off.

We had our first good frost today.
