Kilburn White Horse.

The Kilburn White Horse is exactly what the name suggests, a white horse cut into the landscape of the North Yorkshire Moors above Kilburn. It can be seen for miles around, although today it wasn't quite so prominent as the weather made it so it never really seemed to get totally light! 

However, Dad and I enjoyed another great spin out around the country lanes of North Yorkshire taking in lots of little towns and villages. I think the biggest place we saw all day was Northallerton and aside from that, it was tiny country roads and a lack of cars. A pleasure! :-D 

The little lanes were thick with mud which meant a trip to Tesco to use the car wash facilities before heading back home!! So funny!
