Down came the rain .....

..... the puddles grew in size and the spray on the motorway made driving rather unpleasant.

It was the kind of day for staying inside and tidying out a cupboard or two but I needed to go to Linlithgow for more fabric for my quilting. L and I were so busy chatting that we missed the exit road on the motorway .... there's always another route which was only about an extra 5 miles or so. Lesson learned .... need to concentrate on road signs.
