Water Colors

Dear Diary,

This time of year the reflections in the ponds are quite spectacular.  The white birches, green pines and spots of color here and there, I just love focusing only on the water colors and ripples.  It is very relaxing to sit by the pond and breath in the beauty.

I find great solace in nature.  I am nearly finished with the Thoreau biography and each day I find some new inspiration in it.  It is one of those books that you savor slowly, like a fine brandy.  I will hate to reach the end of it.

No good news on the power front I'm afraid.  Still not restored in my area.  It is getting extremely tedious but perhaps today...
