Autumn Vines

.... as far as the eye can see.
The vines are all changing colour for autumn and look rather spectacular at the moment.
These are near to St. Estephe in the Medoc region. Many of the chateaux round here are well maintained and quite ornate, as todays first extra shows.
The area is popular with tourists visiting the vineyards for wine tasting or 'degustation'.
There are certainly lots of chateaux to choose from in a small area as the second extra photo demonstrates.
