Skip's Blips

Hanging around the Cleveland sign (Backblip)

In preparation for last year's Republican Convention, Cleveland placed several iconic "script Cleveland" signs around the city. When our daughter and her husband visited for a week in September, one of our day trips took us to Cleveland's Northcoast Harbor area where I photographed this blip. Hanging around the sign, you can see (L to R) our daughter Alison, Bob, our son-in-law Rod from AZ, and our Arizona daughter Gretchen. It was a beautiful day and a great place to relax and cool off. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Cleveland, the Harbor area at the end of the Ninth Street pier is a good place to spend some time. From there it is an easy walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Science Museum, First Energy stadium, and most of downtown Cleveland.

Extra pictures are more from the same area. The tall building in the extras is another iconic Cleveland site: Terminal Tower. I posted more pictures from our day trip here.
