AGM

Today I've been at the AGM of the Mamie Martin Fund. My friends J & M are trustees of this Scottish charity which supports girls' education in Malawi. Links between Scotland and Malawi stretch back to the days of David Livingstone and now many of these links and activities come under the umbrella of the Scotland Malawi Partnership. The Mamie Martin Fund and the Soko Fund jointly won this award for a video about their fundraising cycle ride across Scotland earlier this year.

The AGM was really interesting and there was lots of information about the secondary school education of the girls supported by the Fund. And I won a raffle prize of beautiful handmade chocolates so that was a bonus.
