Top Brass

Our Town Hall was hosting a brass band competition today, so we thought we'd pop in and cheer on our local musicians.

I don't know anything about brass instruments, I've never managed to get a note out of one. I like the look of them, especially the big ones. And I like the noise they make, though I prefer to hear it out of doors. 

I'm not sure what this one  is - a euphonium maybe?

From where I was sitting I could only see the first player in the line - a super-musician with extra long arms and the ability to play three euphoniums at once?
