Flavours of the Middle East

Following our recent holiday in the Middle East, my husband is expanding his culinary repertoire to include Middle Eastern dishes. This is the salad prior to dressing, to accompany some spiced yoghurt, hummus and pitta bread,  He had to track down some pomegranate molasses for the dressing.  Who would have thought that there was such an ingredient?
