Builders Day 1

The builders arrived today - correct day and on time, so that's a good start.
They are demolishing some internal walls that are between the kitchen and the garage. It's a funny area, full of walls and passage-ways and a water tank. Along with the plumber, who is arriving on Wednesday, they will then move the tank to the garage and then finish demolishing the walls, which will give us a decent-sized utility room which can be fitted out with kitchen units and a sink, and where the washing machine and tumble drier can go when it's all finished.
There's a fair bit of dust, but at least we don't have to go in there this evening, and breaking eggs and omelettes springs to mind.
I will blip it again once it's been finished (fingers crossed!).
I'm working at home this week - 2 more days to go until I've finished.
