Holkham does a free monthly walk for women on the Holkham Estate and I went along for the first time today. I think we walked just over 4 miles in an hour and a half, which sounds quite slow, but the first half of the walk was on the beach. As we walked back by the edge of woodland we spotted this kestrel hovering and looking for prey. I only had my short 18-135 mm lens but it was quite low so managed to capture it.  We also saw two red kites as well. There were about 20 or so women on the walk plus about half a dozen dogs and it was lovely chatting with some of them, it all seemed very friendly.
