Above And Beyond...

Mountain Sunset

It started off rainy as the forecast predicted but brightened up as the afternoon went on. On getting in from her long distance swim, Mrs BB commented how clear the sky was and that on her drive home she had a clear view across the Bristol Channel.

Nearing sunset time I headed up the lane near the house to the high point knowing that the sun sets behind Rudry Mountain. It was great to see it touching the top of the mountain casting sunrays over the tress below. The blipfoto is one of the first photo's of the evening and I continued to watch it descend well past sunset time to see a red hues in the sky.

I do like the strong red glow over the black trees and hint of yellow sun on Rudry Mountain top. Nice and dramatic out of camera.
