Refreshments

This afternoon we had a look around Salts Mill, Saltaire (searching for inspiration for 'C' presents)'
The mill is always a very interesting experience but I find the atmosphere too warm for me - so, when we emerged, we popped in to 'Don't Tell Titus' a very welcoming Bar and Restaurant across the road.
The name is quite unique. When Saltaire village was built by Titus Salt between 1850 and 1875 to house the workers at his new mill he made sure there was no public house or saloon built in the village - He was very sympathetic towards the temperance movement.
Times have now changed - there is now a Bar/Restuarant opposite his mill -  but 'don't tell Titus' :-)
