Rowing on the Severn

We had an exploratory trip into Shrewsbury today. The town is rather dominated by the River Severn and as we strolled along its banks, these girls came through at a considerable rate of knots.  In fact they had to pause to allow the coach (on his bicycle) to catch up with them.
Watching all that exertion gave us a thirst, so we retired into 'The Boathouse' (see extra) where the staff were most welcoming - as was their beer.
