up, up and away

So today the sky was blue and there was sun - a perfect fall day and as luck would have it I was booked to be inside between 1pm and 4pm. It was a fund-raising, 'Ladies who Lunch' event for my eldest daughter who is off to Washington DC on a school trip next March. All good fun and I came home with raffle prizes galore BUT on a sunny day. My thoughts on the matter are, that when you live in Cumbria - when the sun shines being inside just should not be allowed!!!

Luckily after swimming lessons and a desperate dash to the supermarket this evening there was still time to capture a bit of blue and Sienna enjoying the balloon from the table centre.

Hoping there is sun out there tomorrow!
