Random Waterwheel

We have been to Darlington again to see Mrs madwill's mother. Very slight improvement in her speech, but she refuses to do any of the physiotherapy exercises she has been told to do and so her physical progress is poor.

Mrs madwill's sister is still staying there (for a couple of days more) and it was her birthday today so we all went out for lunch. Then we had to drop MIL at the hospital for a speech therapy appointment. Whilst she  was there we went to stock up on ready meals for her freezer, then after hospital we went back to her house for tea and birthday cake, which Mrs madwill had made for her sister.

Lunch was at a farm shop cafe near Bishop Auckland...very nice it was too, I had farm reared beef and ale pie (don’t think it was the bull in the photograph). Whilst there I noticed this random water wheel leaning up against a tree in a field. No idea where it is from or why it should be where it is, but it is pretty much the only blip opportunity today.

Tagged it for November Derelict Challenge, thanks to 60plus for hosting.
