Carlton Hill at sunset.

A relaxing day, sort of. I have the dentist late morning, but nothing painful is required.

The afternoon is spent at Newington at the charity shops. Followed by coffee. Then down to Argos to buy two shoe racks to use as shelves for a desk (not mine, but I will have to put them together).

Then down to the bus stop to get the bus home. The sun clears, shining on Calton Hill, lighting up the Old Observatory House and Dugald Stewart Monument in front of it. On the right is the The Political Martyrs Monument in the Old Calton Burial Ground.

At the bottom of South Bridge, our bus has stopped. There are blue lights. The next bus is in 6 minutes. At this point a bus driver comes up to say our bus has been diverted. That means carrying the boxes of shoe racks to the next bus stop. Fortunately we get to the next bus stop at the same time as the next bus arrives.

I get home and put the shoe racks together very quickly. Evening spent photo editing, and back blipping photos up to last Saturday.
