Blue Jay--and a special Extra

Back again to Fort River, on a crisp, cold sunny day. The fall colors continue to fascinate me, even though they haven't had the intensity of their better years.  Birds were again seasonably sparse and scattered. For once a blue jay stayed put for a while--even though high and far (EXIF data said 27 meters; it seemed further). I love the image in the extra: a clump of dry leaves swinging in the breeze; the angle is as I captured it.:)
